Ingredients
- 1/2 cup cashews
- 7-8 whole pepper corns (if you like pepper)
- handful of parsley
- handful of mesculin salad or spinach
- clove or two of garlic
- 1/2 tsp ajwan seeds (optional)
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds (optional)
- Afew leaves of fresh basil or thyme or oregano (optional)
- Curry powder (optional)
- 3 teaspoons of soy sauce
- 3 teaspoons of cider vinegar
- black salt (to taste)
Method
- Soak cashews in boiling water for 10 mins
- Wash them and drain a few times
- Put them in the blender with 1/2 cup of water
- Add all other ingredients
- Blend well until you have a thick creamy green sauce
- Pour into a small bowl and eat by itself or over some steamed veg
