Ingredients
- 1pk of waiwai noodles (or enough to serve 2)
- 4 tablespoons of heated, toasted sesame ** (please see note below)
- salt (to taste)
- 1 teaspon of toasted sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon of thinly sliced ginger
- 3 or 4 cloves of garlic sliced
- handful of veggies
- 1/2 packet of cubed tofu
- soy sauce (to taste)
Method
- Boil a pot of water and add the noodles
- Bring to the boil and remove from the heat before the noodles overcook
- In a pan add the oil and ginger and garlic and lightly fry unil the garlic and ginger become golden brown
- Suggest add a little water and a handful of your other favourite veggies such as brocolli, cauliflower, green beans, capsicum
- Add the tofu into the veggies and fry all together until everything is lightly steamed
- In a large bowl mix the cooked noodles with ground up toasted sesame **
- Mix in some salt and soy sauce also to your taste
- Serve the noodles topped with the stir fried veggies

**Sesame Powder:
Put white hulled sesame seeds into a heavy based frypan, and heat fairly slowly. How you can tell when they are ready is when they get shiny (but before they start to change to a more golden colour), as this means that the oil is being released. Then blend into a powder. (A coffee grinder is good for grinding the sesame). It is quite important for this to happen, because otherwise the goodness from the sesame remains inaccessible in its skin and just passes through the body.
