Ingredients:
- 2 cups of sprouted wheat or 4 slices of essene bread, crumbed
- 1 tablespoon arrowroot powder
- 1/4 cup diced onion or 2 minced garlic cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 tsp olive oil
Instructions:
In a mixing bowl, combine the crumbled Essene bread, arrowroot powder, diced onion or minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
Add the water and mix until well combined. The mixture should be sticky but still hold its shape.
Using your hands, form the mixture into 4 equal-sized patties.
Heat the olive oil in a non-stick frying pan over medium heat.
Once the oil is hot, carefully place the patties into the pan.
Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
Remove the patties from the pan and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to absorb any excess oil.
