Banana bread

Ingredients

  • 4 ripe bananas
  • 2⁄3 cup sugar (coconut sugar is best if possible)
  • 4 tablespoons water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups buckwheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon salt

Method

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 350 (180 celsius) degrees. grease a 8x4" loaf pan.
  2. Mash the bananas with a fork in a large bowl.
  3. Add the sugar, vanilla, and water and mix well.
  4. In a medium bowl mix the flour, baking powder and salt together.
  5. Pour the flour mixture into the bananas. mix well
  6. Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  7. Bake for 55-65 minutes, cool completly before slicing.
