Peanut butter brownies
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup of homemade peanut butter (pressed peanuts with no oil, crush or blend in food processor/blender)
- 1/2 cup of jaggery or honey (honey is better for the teeth and if this recipe is made more often)
- 1/2 cup of buckwheat flour (or wholemeal flour occasionally, buckwheat better for health)
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
- pinch of salt
- 1 x no egg (equiv of one egg)
Method
- Mix together all the ingredients into a kind of dough
- A little water may need to be added it it is still a bit crumbly
- Press into a baking tray (this recipe is specifically for the treatmaker from the warehouse)
- Bake in the treatmaker for 5 to 7 minutes or in the oven for a little longer
