Cashew and date recovery tonic

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup of raw cashews, washed and soaked in boiling water for 1/2 an hour
  • 1/2 a cup of washed dates
  • 1 teaspoon of ginger powder
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
  • 2/3 cup of water

Method

  1. Put all ingredients into blender and blend well
  2. Pour into a large glass and drink soon after preparation

Note

This is a good drink to have after any sort of exerting or stressful event. It releases sugars slowly into the system and is good for pacifying vata while also delivering energy.
